Evolution Gaming buys their competitor Ezugi

February 10, 2022

casino gamesWithout being out of reach of their closest competitors, Evolution Gaming decided to expand by buying Ezugi. This is one of the smaller providers of live casino software. They have nine studios, 20 games and over a hundred customers worldwide.  This is not a bad acquisition for Evolution, considering that Ezugi also serves the American market, where many developers are now striving. The supplier also operates in markets in Europe, Latin America and South Africa. The deal will range between $12 million and $18 million. Evolution expects that through this acquisition they will increase next year’s revenue by 2-4%. In addition, their stock price is expected to increase slightly in 2019. The company will continue to operate under the Ezugi brand, just that the owner will now be Evolution. It was noted that at the moment Evolution and Ezugi are the only providers of live casinos in the American market. Apparently, Evolution decided not to tolerate competition and just take over the company. Now the remaining small competitors will simply not get close to this giant.
